Description
The PING G740 Irons are engineered to maximize distance, forgiveness, and consistency for golfers seeking effortless launch and confidence on every shot. Featuring a larger profile, advanced face technology, and optimized weighting, they deliver faster ball speeds and exceptional playability across the set.
Features & Benefits
- Larger, Faster Face: Hyper 17-4 stainless steel face flexes more at impact to generate higher ball speeds, increased launch, and greater distance with added forgiveness.
- Extreme Forgiveness: Longer blade length, thicker topline, and higher MOI create PING’s most forgiving iron, delivering more consistent performance on off-center strikes.
- Wider Dual-Camber Sole: Broad sole design lowers the center of gravity while improving turf interaction for easier launch and smoother contact through impact.
- PurFlex Cavity Badge: Three-zone PurFlex badge enhances face flex while dampening unwanted vibrations to produce a softer feel and more satisfying sound.
- Optimized Weight Distribution: High-density toe and tip weighting improve stability and swing balance for greater consistency throughout the set.
- High-Launching Performance: Low CG construction combines with forgiving shaping to help golfers launch the ball higher with reliable distance and stopping power.
- Set make up: 5-9 Irons, Pitching Wedge
